I am the founder and author behind Stillnest Press, an independent publishing and creative studio shaped by a lifelong interest in the way words, beauty and the things we keep can become part of our inner lives.

For more than thirty years, my work has taken me across 75 countries and into the worlds of human development, communication and international luxury, working with people from many cultures and at very different moments in their lives. It has been an extraordinary education in human nature, but perhaps more importantly, in how much of a life exists beyond what can easily be seen or said.

Stillnest Press grew quietly from that understanding.

I have always been interested in what people carry with them: the thoughts that return years later, the books that somehow survive every house move, handwriting we recognise before we have read a word, the ordinary objects that gather meaning simply because they were there while life was happening.

That is the territory Stillnest Press inhabits.

Through journals, notebooks, books and other objects made to be lived with and kept, I want to create places for what might otherwise pass unnoticed. Not to tell anyone how to live, or what they should discover about themselves, but to leave enough room for their own thoughts, memories and ways of seeing to emerge.

There is already so much asking for our attention. Stillnest was never intended to add to the noise.

It is simply a place for beautiful, thoughtful things that might stay with us for a while.
